I ordered the MaxJax last week. Dannmar is expecting a shipment (probably from China) the second week of April. The acct. rep. that sold me the unit says it will ship soon thereafter. Demand for these have been high. Here's the contact and the price.

$1999 shipped + $135 for liftgate service (residential)

The primary reason I purchased MaxJax over BendPak is for the mobility. I may only be in this house for another year or so. When the time comes to move, I can take the jack w/ me, or offer to sell it to the new owner. Plus... having a 3 car garage (1 is for the kid's toys, my workshop, etc.) and 2 cars, having a permanent lift wouldn't allow for my 2nd car to be parked in the garage. The lift height isn't that great, but with a low garage ceiling, it'll be just the ticket!

Doug996InkC, Thanks for sharing your info. I too am considering this unit. What's the warranty? This is my second choice because it's local to me. http://www.rhilifts.com/products/par...ingle_post.php

THANK YOU, for this invaluable info. I would have NEVER given it a thought.

This is one I have been thinking about for some time. I still worry about the Porsche being back heavy though and the lift tipping. What a dream to have a normal 4 post lift! would be sweet!

Per the website...

Dannmar offers a one-year warranty on all product parts, and three year's warranty on product structure. Labor is not included in warranty.

+1.... you can def tip this car if you are not careful, that engine is hanging behind the rear wheels. At times I def can feel the front end gets very light and have to raise the rear higher to try to give the front a bit more weight.

If you have the height in your garage, go with the 4 post.... turns your 2 bay into a 3 bay.... priceless in the winter.

Redridge, I've been debating lift choices for a while now...want a 4 post to be able to store in winter but haven't really seen a 4-corner wheels-off method which didn't involve 2 pretty expensive bridge jacks to be able to lift by the approved front & rear lift points.

Can't entirely tell from your pic - looks like you're using 2 bridge jacks? I'm thinking I could use 4 small bottle jacks at each corner, but that'd be too slow & tedious.
