I'm going to check my offsets tomorrow and see if those rears will fit on my 996 race car. It's a narrow body, rolled and lightly pulled to accept the 11.5's w/315's in my avatar.
These will not fit. Well maybe if you use 265/35-18 tires

Wow, very nice. I think they'd look pretty sharp on my yellow C4 areo! (But my wallet hopes they WON'T fit! Lol!!). My rubber is brand new too, stock 225-40 up front and 285-30 out back (18"). Not sure they'll look right on these wider wheels (I HATE the look of tires not wide enough for the wheels they're on, not to mention their ill performance / safety on the road).
What spacers would be needed to get the wheels to fit right?

I couldn't resist seeing how gold would look on my car. I think they look good! (Don't flame me for my horrible cut/paste job. I don't have Photoshop and had to use MS Paint along with the picture Zookie posted. Ha!)

Oh you're so mean, Zookie.

LOL! I'm kind of diggin it the more I see it. But I really do like silver on yellow better. I guess I'll get that new transaxle instead.

Peavy, I'm gonna have to go with Zookie on this one... Gold & yellow just don't work together. Gold only works on neutral colors like white, black, grey, silver... The only bright color that looks good with gold is blue, & even then (me having a blue car), I probably wouldn't do it.

I'll concede, Raphael. Gold is hard to pull off on bold color cars; neutral really is key to set them off right.
I once put a set of gold wheels from an early Dodge Shelby (most folks don't know Shelby even made Dodges; he was one of the fathers of the Viper too, but I digress). Anyway, I put a set of gold Shelby's on my blue toyota truck in the '80s. It juuuuust worked, but barely. I think it had to do with the fact that the blue was almost iridescent and it married well with the gold.

I'm not so sure about that. Those are 315's on 11.5 on there now with a pretty hefty offset. Regardless, I'll go make some measurements this morning and we'll see....

IIRC they are approx 24lbs front and 27lbs rear. Decent weight and very strong.

Lip depth:
F - 49mm
R - 87mm
