Default Help!!

I have a 2001 Carrera 4 tip and I just had the 75k service done last week. I turn the ignition and the dash lights up, fan is blowing, the windows go up and down (on their own, I'm not touching the buttons) and I get clicking noise, nothing from the engine.

Ideas?

The faulty ignition switch can cause some strange behavior try switching on and off a few times and see if it happens regularly or intermittent.

I tried 4 times initially, first time it was like it was struggling to start, next 3 were just lights, fan, windows and clicking.

You would be the best judge of that... give it a try but be prepared to take where you need to ASAP if she starts. You might try jumping it also.

Turns out the battery was shot. Very weird, would have thought starter/ignition. Thanks for the help, I appreciate it.

Porsches exhibit strange behavior when the battery starts to go dead. This is especially true of our Cayenne, but now I know to look out for it on the C4S also!

Thats what my guys told me. All the electrical turning on but nothing from the engine is the car saying the battery is done. Seems backwards to me but it is what it is.
