As for sleep.... dont bother, read up on some mods that you can do.... Tim will suggest a few in a bit.
Congrats on getting a sweet looking 996!

Since Ferd brought up the subject of MODS:
  • Aluminum Gauge rings
  • Aluminum Pedals
  • Paint your Brake Calipers
  • Paint the "top hats" while you are painting the calipers
  • Spoiler Switch in upper center console (horseshoe)
  • Garage Door opener mod (Targa switch in horseshoe)
  • PSE MK II mod
  • Do the key fob antenna mod to improve the range of the key fob
  • Get the Upper Shelf to replace the CD holder
That should keep you busy until Tax Day. Let me know when you get your tax refund and then we'll talk about some serious mods.

Congrats! Like the color - almost got that color myself before I found my '03 metallic black Targa.

Gauge trim rings, bumperplugs (no front plate in NC!), and clear front corners are at the top of my list. Then I may have to lay low for a while...

If you get a SSK let it "age" a year or better in the garage before installing it. It has been proven to make them smoother

And the mods begin... slowly and quietly at first.

Just ordered clear corners and Orient Red bumperplugs.

Looking for a good source/price on aluminum gauge trim rings. I wonder if these are a fairly standard part or are some better than others?
