I just like the finish of the badge, I would not even put the 40 jahre portion on my car.

Hey Tim - maybe he got confused because you asked him to mount it on your Honda, and he thought you wanted the emblem to match the cubic inch displacement.

I thought it over a week or two and went above. This was a few years back, no regrets.

Nick,
You have the flat black too. I'm glad I went with that. Since I have the fixed wing I think I will go below, but I do like yours above.

My house is built from flakeboard, staples and vinyl, but I put a sign on the side that says: "fieldstone"

Putting a sign on a 911 that says '911' is like putting a sign on Megan Fox that says 'girl'.

Ha. I agree. Carrera is the model name that Porsche chose to use, so that's the proper emblem.

That said, get the standard flat black logo Marc! Chrome is pimpy (for the outside)!

Porsche has put Carrera and 911 on 996 models....
Proper is overrated I think

I don't know, the Chrome is kinda sharp on the badge, looked good on the Turbo badges they used it on, Plus times are rough, I may want to become a Pimp and need to be fully prepared
