Hey, I bought one of those flashlights--but it's OK because it is labelled "Porsche" and costs more.
Actually, the dumbest thing I bought was this: When ordering new custom floormats, I also ordered the one that is made to fit the space under the rear window behind the back seats. HOWEVER, it does not fit if you have the Bose subwoofer . . . oops
It has occupied the same space in my garage for two years. It just sits there staring at me and wondering when it will be allowed to go outside, just like my cats.

Ah ha ha ha ha! That was funny... Glad to hear it though....no hard top for me
Sorry -- but I think the hardtop is great for the winter. Quiet. During bad weather, I can use the Porsche dealer's free car wash (which I wouldn't do with the soft top up). Just great....but your enthusiasm may depend on where you live.

That's another thing. Car is silver, top is white. Bought it to get it painted, was quoted $175, but never got around to it. Can't remember what I paid for it, any idea what they are worth?

Live in Florida, car really doesn't come out during the hurricane (humid, rainy summer) season and the rest of the year I drive it with the top down. I suppose if I were using it as a daily driver I would have the hardtop on for the rainy months.

You all know the soft top is waterproof and you CAN drive in the rain, right?
Do people use hard tops more in the winter just because they know they won't be driving with the top down at all, or is there some advantage to it over the soft?
