I have the same shifter , feels much like the B&M. The S2000 what the best shifter ever. Check and See if you have the Bose demo CD, this is a great system.
I ordered my Carrera without the rear model designation. And ordered the rear model designation painted to match the car. This is done quite routinely. My brake calipers came in yellow as well, but I didn't request it.

Agreed - my S2000 had the best shifter... like a rifle.
The OEM / B&M does loosen up a bit after a few thousand miles...

I voted the S2000 shifter as 2nd to the Miata's. The S2000 was a better car, but I got tired of winding it out to get any power. Although I loved the Miata I had, it was just too damn girly. But it served it's purpose at the time. I wish they made stickers that said "It's my wife's" or something like that....
Ok, fine... I hate to post pics when I haven't even detailed it yet, but here goes... These were shot from the dealer.
By the way, does anyone know if the rear tints will peel off cleanly? I'm worried that it might damage the rear defroster lines. I'm not really the tinted window type of guy... I'm a family man, after all...
And yes, I am buying the "Carrera 4S" badge. I see them at Pelican. But this is with the "S" in silver or whatever that color is. I have seen some C4S's with a red "S". Is this an "option"?
