Sorry for the late response. I used those synthetic towels for dryinmg your car that are subsitutes for chamois towels...can't remember the brand. I put one on top of the carpet and one underneath. They seemed to wick out water quite well. I then put a small fan in for a few hours directing air under the carpet.
AS far as the Cab drain question, drains are rectangular and can be viewed when the top is in the service position.
Next check point is to remove the rear speakers, remove the plastic shield and check exit of drains (plastic ribbed hose). Reference to RennTech was extremely helpful.
