Anyone know how to remove them? The bottom rear of the door has a torx bolt, but I can't figure out how to undo the top front side.
Early cars bolt on, two large torx bolts I believe. Later cars not quite as easy.
Oh, and once you have removed the bolts there is still an adhesive that holds it all along the door. You can either try to cut this with a razor knife or do the piano wire trick slowly and carefully to break the seal all along the door and bar. Then it should just fall right off.
I have done a few although it was a few months ago I did the last one and if memory serves correctly the torx bolt must be loosened from inside the door, I remember cussing a few times and having a few red marks on my arm from the fruits of my labor. Just look closely, it should be pretty obvious, but on the early cars which it looks like you have it should just be the two bolts and adhesive.
Oh, another note of caution, when removing the adhesive be careful not to dent the outer skin of the door - that is what you will be pulling, prying, etc against to remove it and the our door shell is fairly easy to dent/ding.
