My passenger seat Rocks! When I bought it they told me it has the seat massage option. So...it's not??

Mine does as well. My Boxster S did it too, straight from the factory. I kind of like it. Sort of says "this car is for drivers -- passengers are about as welcome as functional cupholders or a good radio."

Mine does it as well. The tach stays level at idle but the passenger seat on both of 996's I've had.

+1 here too.

If you adjust the angle of the seat you can reduce the shaking.
Mine is only annoying when it rattles against the seatbelt.
