How do you know its an IMS failure if they are sat on your car park. Shouldn't they be up on a hoist inside a garage or is that just speculation again. OH don't tell me. You already had them stripped apart to diagnose the problem, put them back together again and THEN rolled them out onto the car park. Yeh RIGHT. Pull my other one, it's got bells on it. I love the scare mongers, thats why I was able to buy the best sports car in the world within my price range. Hammering the hell out of this and done 11k in a year and sound as a pound mate coming up on it's 60K preventative mainentance schedule. right thats me of the soap box.......

^^^ you're responding to a post made over three weeks ago? Why do you keep resurrecting this thread? If you don't wanna replace your bearing, I'm sure it'll be fine and no one cares. Just a side note, you can pull the trans out and diagnos a bearing without even taking the wheels off,so theresreally no reassembly involved to push it outside.

Shut up Hurdi. The man says the IMS failed, and there's good reason to believe he is correct.

Why the hell would you call him a liar when you don't have the sense even to realize your car look scrap with badges and stickers al over it. Do you even know what the IMS Bearing does?

And yes I'm still sore from you trying to tell me that using gears to slow down "just as you woudl on a motorcycle" is good practice. It is my humble opinion that you have about as much mechanical sense as does my 90 year old mother in law.

It's not like it doesn't happen bud.

Rant off
