I learned that my 02 996 C2 speedometer reads 4mph faster than several school, construction, and "Your speed is" radar set up by local police. So when my wife glances over says "You're doing 80mph on the highway" I say, "Relax, we're only going 76."

I also learned that the variable wiper speed on the lowest setting is just a bit fast for a light rain or mist. Leave it to the Porsche engineers to tell us what we need in the rain instead of actually testing it in real world conditions, I assume.

After owning the car a year I finally figured out how to turn the fog lights on. Pull on the headlight switch and then turn it left or right for two different modes. I also learned that the U-AOS collects moisture and deposits water in the catch tank. Why that surprised me, I don't know. Where else would the moisture go when disconnected from the intake.

Should only be 2 mph, what size wheel/tire are you running? If it's not listed in the fuel filler door that's why you're at 4 over.

Wheels and tires are stock - 225/40-18 front, 285/30-18 rear. Both 17 and 18 size wheels are listed on the fuel filler door. Maybe I have the performance speedometer option. Hahaha

For the thread. Cigarette lighter can be OEM upgraded to a slightly smaller aperature to better hold chargers and other adapters. I did it and that solved lots of frustration. Suncoast has it.

Simple solution, loose the crowds on the freeways, loose the big cities. Move to a place where you CAN'T see the air. JMO
YMMV
