Does anybody want to sell me the stock parts that would allow me to uninstall my Fabspeed Cold Air Intake kit? This is for a 2002+ 996 engine. I need:

top half of the air cleaner assembly box
rubber hose attaching air cleaner assembly to the throttle body
(if you have the 3 band clamps, even better)

Yes, that's a picture of my car.

A buyer wants the car but doesn't want the Fabspeed CAI. Apart from the slight improvement in exhaust note at WOT, the mod really doesn't do anything. Same effect as an orange cap.

I see a 2001 air box on ebay. Are the 2001 3.4L airboxes the same as the 3.6L airboxes?

Yes, except for the holes in the bottom, I'm pretty sure they are identical

you can also pick a 997 airbox (not the 997S) it looks sharper and you can find them cheap. It even uses the same 996 air filter.


the original 996 airbox is ugly and so 80's LOL!!
