I have a 15 quart pan I picked up at Advance Auto. It does have a small hole but as long as you open the breather plug on the top it won't overflow. I didn't get any splatter either. I've had this thing since I started changing oil on my 944 so I figured it should work just as well and it did.

Only about $10 if I remember correctly.

I got a Blitz 15 quart pan off amazon. It has an 8" opening w/ a plastic mesh strainer to catch the plug/filter.

...yet somehow, I still managed to make a huge mess from the splatter. Holy cow, that oil comes out fast! I do <3 the base auto hobby shop and that $4/hour lifts. So worth it
