Feeler: '99 996 Aero
It's with a sad heart I'm listing my baby for sale. I never thought this day would come. I fully intended to own this car for the next 30+ years however my wife's battle with breast cancer has changed perspective on things.
The car:
'99 996 Factory Aero (exclusive option XAA)
Just turned 51K miles
Guards Red
Black FULL LEATHER interior w/ creasts in headrests
M030 sport suspension
Sport Design wheels (optional 8" front vs. standard 7.5' front)
Factory limited slip ('99 or '04 cars only)
CR-210 + 6 disk changer
3- spoke wheel
Litronics
small carbon package (shifter and e-brake)
Stainless door sills
Modifications:
H&R Sport Springs
GHL Headers and Exhaust system
B&M shifter
GT3 console delete
Bumper plugs in front
Painted rear bumperettes
OEM Non-smoker kit
All maintenance is done and up to date.
Front rotors have 1 DE and 1200 street miles on them
Mintex Redbox pads front and rear have 1200 miles on them
MAF sensor / Plugs / Motor mounts / Serpentine belt all have around 5K miles
I've exclusively run Redline 5W-40 engine oil (has about 200 miles as it sits now)
Motul 600 brake fluid
Clean carfax
As some of you know I'm a professional detailer. I guarantee the presentation of this car is top notch.
This car has the factory origional RMS still in place and dry as a bone.
In the interest of full disclosure:
-Car has a small rock chip in the front windsheild that has been repaired
-Small oil leak from the valve covers. (drip here or there on the floor of the garage.)
-Front end was repainted by a previous owner for rock chips. There are some new rock chips present but nothing horrible. Paint work was first rate
-Small scrapes on the underside of the front bumper from a Previous owner. They have been touched up and are not obvious
-There are two small dings on the passengers side of the car. One from the PO and one minor one that would be a perfect candidate for PDR.
-Typical wear on seat bolsters
Price: $24,000
I can be reached here via PM or @ 614-747-0002 and more pictures can be provided upon request.

Sorry to hear about your wife. I hope her battle with cancer goes well...
Your car is beautiful, and I'm sure you hate to sell it. Good luck with the sale.

Thanks gent. She's a fighter and we WILL get past the cancer. You can take quite a bit from her but not her strong will and great attitude.
However, Having four cars right now when all of my time and effort is directed towards her doesn't make a whole lot of sense. I rarely drive the 996 these dyas. I hope that someone can give the car a great home and get the same enjoyment out of it that I do.

Andy - nice looking lady! I am very sorry to hear about your wife's battle with cancer! I hope and pray that she will recover completely.
I have always liked your car. I wish I were in the market for a 996 at this time. Good Luck with the sale!

Andy, your car has always been one of the nicest examples here. I agree with ED...she is a beautiful lady. You have your priorities right. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your wife.

Andy, sorry to hear the news of your wife and the car. As others have said - you have a beautiful wife - protect her and the car can be replaced later.
Good luck with the sale.
