Default Should I tape my splitter?

I have the Super Cup splitter / lip 996.505.986.91, and I was wondering if you all thought its a good idea to use some 3M double sided tape to help hold it on. I have just used the pop rivets in the past, and there are so many parking embankments that just rip it off.

Thoughts? Tape or no tape?

Yes, absolutely use the 3m tape... Unless you don't like it too much. They are known to just fly right off at track speed after an end has come loose via the plastic clips. I much prefer to have it hanging there still half attached by tape so that I can save it.

I use both double sided 3M tape and the Porsche rivets to secure my front lip.

In addition, a bead of silicone keeps air out of the gap which is really the enemy with keeping it on...unless you hit something
