Cab wind stop 996 vs. 997
Hi guys,
I have been looking for a used windstop, and found someone local to me last week with one.
It was from a 997 Cab and was in excellent condition and the price was perfect..
Neither of us knew if it would fit so I called a local Porsche dealer..spoke to parts and service and both said it was a whole different set up and would not fit. (was quoted $749. for a new one)
So I passed on the deal.
Friday, I went to buy parts at another local Porsche dealer and asked the parts guy and he advised that it would be a perfect fit...(a new one was $379)
Can anyone confirm for me?
Thanks in advance!
