I've done a search through the forums and have been unable, as of yet, to locate what I'm looking for:

I need the console rear extender piece for my MY99 996 C2. I know the part number is 996 552 127 00 A11 (black leather piece). This I found, but the price I've seen ranges from 350-410 bucks, which I'd like to avoid if at all possible.

Is there a less expensive plastic alternative? I'm wondering if the piece that comes with the console delete kit is cheaper/plastic.
Is there a 986 xxx xxx xx piece that would fit, or is it completely different on the Boxster?

If anyone has any leads on either a good price on the leather piece, or a suitable plastic alternative please let me know.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Contact Sunset Imports in Oregon, or Suncoast in FL for the best prices for a new piece. You could also try some of the salvage yards, but be careful.

I ended up finding one at oklahomaforeign.com.
In great condition, only $40 bucks. Fits perfectly.
