I got the center console delete started. Successfully moved the climate control box to the upper slot where the cupholders used to live. The trim piece that snapped over the climate control from the lower cubby now does not cover the gap. The lower portion of the control box is now partially exposed as it is rectangular space, as opposed to a trapezoid space from the lower cubby.

Other than Ebay, any suggestions where to hunt for the piece.

The trim is different between the top mounted climate and the bottom. The dealer car get it for you, It's probably under 10 bucks. I have my old one someplace, I can look this evening.
