get a PPi done and then the value of the car can be assessed. Include pics also.

NO WAY $35k!!!!!

This market is awful! 6 months ago a friend of mine bought a 997 at auction for $30k and it's worse now!

$28k tops!!!

$30k for a 997, wow! Where was this auction?

I googled "car auctions" and found this website http://www.gov-auctions.org/listings...sche&Zip=93117 they claim to have sold a 2006 Cayenne for under $7k
Sounds fishy

Don't you always need tires soon if you drive a 911?

I'm also in the market for a 2002-2003 C4S....

I noticed various nice ones in the US market, but i'm picky and i'm waiting for the right one!

I missed out on a great deal, Lapis blue on grey interior 2002 with 35k miles on it. Asking price was 35k but i'm sure the buyer bought it for less since it was lurking around in the AutoTrader for a while!

Amazing cars, can't wait for the right one to come around!

Before you buy a US car, you better check the RIV issues. Getting a letter re recall from Porsche is getting tougher. There is talk that only Porsche Canada will issue them and only after the car has been examines by a Cdn Porsche dealer.

It was local here in PA. I had listed my 2002 996 for sale on here back a year or so ago and basically had NO interest at $30k. I see 1983 SC's selling for the same price as 996's. A transaction took place on Rennlist a month or so a go where a guy bought a 1999 996 with track upgrades for $14k!

RIV issues are fine with this car! Recall letter can be obtained through Porsche Canada! It does not neet to be inspected in canada first. As i will be most likly taking it to a Porsche dealer for inspection upon purchase, i will have my DRL's activated and the spedo digitally changed to Km at the same time....

Porsche IS getting tougher, you are right! I had to muscle my way with them for the correct answers!
