Cure for seatbelt twist?

My passenger side has a 1/2 twist in the seatbelt. Can I get any DIY advice on that? Do I have to take it apart? Are there any slides on how to do that if that is the case? It is a '99 Cabrolet if that makes a difference. I did a search on seatbelt and didn't see this described in the last few years so if there is another link to what should be done I would appreciate the heads up. Thanks.

Just fold the seat belt over it self and feed the belt through the buckle. It will be hard to get the buckle over the folded part of the belt, but it can be done. Make sure you fold the seat belt in the correct direction. If you don't, you will get a "full twist" in the belt.

He may be talking about it being twisted from the anchor end. I have seen some cars do this before. If it's twisted in the belt, follow above advice and simply re-thread it back through.

Yes, I am saying that it is twisted on the anchor end. When you say rethread it back through are you saying to force the fold back into the retractor part? Sorry I'm not that smart

In any case, you can take the advice in the spirit it was offered or be a wisea$$.
