I've got a hold of a set of rotors and have some time here to get them painted up before I install them. I'm wondering what colour guys normally go with. I'm not looking for bling, just to avoid the rusted orange look.

so:

1) Black to match teh brakes calipers
2) Silver to match the wheels

What's the norm?

Yes - that's what I was thinking...too bad since I have black paint already but getting a hold of silver paint will involve a traffic battle this afternoon.

Find a paint that will tolerate the high heat associated with that part.

I found some silver wheel paint which was "formulated for extra resistance to heat and brake dust etc.." I'll post pictures soon of the finished job but it will be a while before they are in service.

I'm hoping they don't come off too shiny and all....still it will be better than rust coloured.
