Default Rear Wheel bearing replacement

It started off sounding like the wheel is out of balance but I switched the tires around and the whopping sound is still there. My indy said that its a known weak link on our cars because of the weight on the rear wheels. The pcar, with 85K miles, is off to the shop for rear wheel bearing replacement next week..

May I ask how much you paid for the work done per wheel? Was it at an Indy or dealer?

Update:

I paid $350 cash at my Indy for one wheel bearing replacement. Part cost is $108.73.
