What do you think this 02 Cab is worth?
Hello,
I found an 02 C2 Cab with 16,800 miles for sale. Not one scratch. Gray/Gray with Blue interior. Two owners. Nothing wrong with it. No warranty. Clean CarFax.
Option codes are as follows: C02, 139, 288, 340, 437, 438, 476, 537, 551, 601, 680, 692, 936, 981, 983.
Firm price is $37,500.
What do you guys think? I have been looking long and hard for an 02-04 Cab. Most are priced at $35K. I find the occasional $29.9K one, but usually with 40-50k miles and with some wear due to miles.
Thanks,
Todd

I've been trying bro! I find some a little bit cheaper, but with more miles and scratches, etc. The one's alot cheaper are banged up usually. It's a bad market to sell, but the one's priced right go that day.
If anyone is selling their 02-04 Cab, under 45K miles, let me know.

I wouldn't automatically rule out the high miles cars. Mine came with full documentation and was at a significant discount because of the miles. Best of all the previous owner addressed all of the usual issues that come up with these cars during the lower miles "break-in period" before it got to me.
So it may be worth going higher mile if all other points are encouraging.

for what it is worth, one year ago, I sold my 2002 C4 Cab (8.5/10 condition) with 32K miles and a CPO warranty valid until 50K for $35K.

Well... I have an '02 cab with 34K miles (I think) and it's immaculate, perfect, etc. I can't tell you all the option codes, but it's got all the desirable stuff. I don't want to sell it, but if I did, it would be in the upper 30's. If this is the car you want, and the PPI checks out, then buy it. Sure, you might find one cheaper, but then again you might not. And then you would have spent all that time without it!
Cheaper is not always better. I paid full retail for mine when I bought it, but I haven't regretted it once. OK, once, when I almost bought an Aston Martin and couldn't afford both cars. But I'm better off with the 911, I have no doubt.

I would love to hear some of figures about 2002 996 prices from the "Market Update" article.
I would buy the magazine myself, but since I am moving in a couple of weeks I don't want to order a subscription to my old address (and I don't know my new address yet).

I bought a '99 Tip Cab for $23k last month. 38K Miles.
Nothing wrong with it yet, but if I could do over, I'd get all kinds of checks done and probably buy one with a better service history some warranty etc.
Especially after reading these boards! Every time I get in it I think she's gonna blow!
Good luck with whatever car you buy.
