I always wonder if choosing a color based on the small samples at the dealer might be part of the reason for some of the odder combinations.

Wonder if it could be over-dyed with black or something???

not to hijac a thread, but wonder if they come in 17"s. I've been coveting a set of Fiske Profil 10s - but I don't need them

Marlon,

Your wheels already look good, just install some sport springs to drop it a little.

wat?! I was actually toying with the idea of stealth 'raising' it 1" for the full effect of 4-doubleU-DEE

Ed, yes they're the Maxspeeds. The carbonfiber lay quality is outstanding, but the leather is so-so. They're a lot lighter than stock and let me run full harnesses though, so they'll do for now. I'll probably get real GT3 seats if I ever follow through w/my GT3 purchase. We shall see...

I like them in the cooler weather a lot more than a hot day... seem to "sink in" a bit... and yes, the leather is not the best, but at the price point... for me it was the only option

MARLON - Those wheels are UGLY... let me know if you dont want them I will take them off your hands and "figure out" something to do with em

I have some spare spings, if you want to "double up" you might gain that height your looking for we can swap straight across

OK...i was going to stay out of this but here's my .02

Overall I like the color of the red I think it just needs to be toned down a touch in order to make it really nice. The black carpet is a good start, maybe just go with a black steering wheel, black horseshoe and maybe make the lower dash black and you've got a winning combination that I'd order if I were buying the car new.

I love our red / Black interior in our M3...but it's a bit more subtle with just seats, door inserts and arm rests being red.

Quick Reply: Best 996 interior I've ever seen.... wow.
