Yeah, the 996 inspires confidence that lets you know right when it will let go.
My '87, no way!
I cant tell when it will let go and I felt at many times (when it was running) that it was at its edge when it really wasnt.
You have to pay a lot of attention to the older ones, not the 996, it WILL tell you the condition the car is in.

I think that drivability did however have to compromise the real Porsche look......but the C4S is a very very very sexy Porsche

very nice ride.... welcome to the water pumpers. Always a treat to see 993 owners on here... as for grip, I think you will give in before your c4s will... its a phenominal car on the track as well. Enjoy!
