Smile JD Power Initial Quality Survey

Interesting article on USA Today, referencing JD Power Initial Quality Survey - and the good news (at least for 997.2 purchasers) is that Porsche came in #2, behind Lexus.

I'm happy to see Porsche achieve such great results in this current initial quality survey as it raises the brand value.

Yes, I mentioned 997.2 because as my post title stated, its an INITIAL quality survey, and in this case, based on first 3 months of ownership. I don't know where Porsche was at during 996 production in terms of initial quality indicators but I suspect it wasn't immediately behind Lexus.

Still, I am happy to see the Porsche brand so high on the list. I think its a differentiator between Porsche and other premium (e.g. italian sports cars) that seem engineered to be beautiful garage queens, and such high quality marks only increases that difference.

Apologize, I neglected to include the link on my first post:
