Default Rear Quarter Window Grinding
My rear quarter window is not working. It only makes a grinding sound when attempting to raise and lower or when roof is operating. I assume it is the regulator, but wonder if anyone has any experience with this.

Is the grinding noise hurting anything? I only drive the car on sunny days with the top down and have read hear, and on Renntech, that it's an expensive repair job. Provided I'm not doing damage I might just leave it inoperable for now. Any thoughts?

you need a rear window regulator, your not hurting angything. Worst case senario you would end up with a window stuck up/down.
