Default Anyone in Newfoundland??

Is there anyone in StJohns Newfoundland that knows this car, or could look at it for me??
http://halifax.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehi...AdIdZ127530411

I'm interested, but it's a bit of a roadtrip. I would be happy to "donate" to a paypal account or similar.

Thanks,
Gord.

Full respray man? Impact damage? Run away. There's way better cars out there for you.

Murray: This car has been around for awhile - I saw this ad months ago and basicly they have reposted it again. There is a *reason* why they are having trouble selling it for under $24K. I agree with Jasper on this one. There are many cars in Ontario and QC without all these problems and yes you may pay more, but the cost of fixing what is wrong with this car and what could go wrong in the future will drive you into the poor house. For all these issues PLUS the high mileage and pick up costs - no way.

I live in in St.John's NL and although I haven't seen this car in person nor do I personally know the seller, This is a small town and everyone knows everyone... pretty much... This car has been for sale for close to a year maybe even more. Basically he has two cars for sale and its the same story for both. They have been in some sort of serious accident. I was looking to buy a BMW a few months ago and the other car he has is an 04 M3. The shop that worked on them told me that both these cars are junk and to stay away. So I guess that's what I will say too.... :S

Besides $24k being way too high for a previously wrecked '00 996, I wouldn't trust anyone who says the car normally sells for $38k +
