The title is clear ,not salvage.... salvage history means there was an accident in the past

Having a wreck does NOT mean salvage history. Was the car totaled out by the insurance company? You will need to elaborate or you are going to severely impact your sale. The last thing you want is for a potential buyer to have doubts about the car.

How in the world did you get a salvage title to magically become no salvage anymore? Once the car is a salvage it ALWAYS is a salvage and must be disclosed as such.
There are some "loopholes" to get a "clear" title but that is a whole 'nother matter you don't want to be part of.

No need to read mine as I am not trying to clear a salvage title. However, in the state of Minnesota it is allowable to have a car inspected (true) but the title will be branded PRIOR SALVAGE. For you benefit I would be CLEAR on that point. "SALVAGE HISTORY" is very ambiguous. The more info you can provide and why the better you chances are for top dollar as ANY car with the word salvage anywhere near it will shy away would be top dollar buyer. Do yourself a favor and read the Minnesota law and report that in your ad so your buyer feels more at ease.
Mac, we are only trying to help you get the best dollar for your car by explaining to you how clear you need to be. That's all. No need to be so offended.

Glad to help. I would suggest stating in your ad that while the car had a state issued salvage title after an accident, by law, it was allowed to be inspected to have the title re-issued as a clear title. This will give you the support you need to explain away a salvage title and show that the car has passed a STATE inspection approving it to have the clear title issued. This will cover you bases especially if somebody pulls a carfax and gets spooked. I have no doubt you will get top dollar if you explain this clearly. You are lucky to have a state that allows for an inspection process to help cars have the stigma of salvage removed if they have shown to be "as good" as a clear titled car.
Good luck with the sale!
