to aero or not to aero - that is the question
I was never planing on aero'ing my nb. I like the way it looks and I love the lifting spoiler...
but I have an opportunity to buy a turbo bumper and a MASHAW gt2 wing for pretty cheap (<1k for both) which is very tempting...
I know the 2 sort of mismatch... And I have no clue what to do about skirts....
What do you think? would you go down this route or not? would the result be akin to a frankenporsche?
any input would be great!
thanks
this is a quick pic of my nb right now (did I say stock?)

I have considered the same thing aero or no aero....on a 99 NB. The problem is I do not want the frankenstein aftermkt look either. To me there are only 2 options to consider. Factory Aero, which looks like you do not like or a complete body redo like 996 to 997 look with wide body fenders front/rear. But I come to the same stinkin conclusion everytime.....too much money to sink into a sinking value car that in 3 more years may be in the 10-13k range. Better off to save for a real Wide Body TT IMHO

Life's short. Do what you want with no regrets.
If you're concerned about resale value and potentially limiting your future buyer base with mismatched bits, then toss your old parts in the attic so you can put the car back to stock when you want to sell it.
Cheers,
