I'm new to the 996 fold and have what may be a stupid question. My new Race car needs a thorough engine bay cleaning as it came from the west coast where the tracks are dusty. Anything I should be careful of when approaching this project? Any recommendations or products you recommend is also welcomed.
Before I point the hose at it I wanted some experienced advise...

I'll have more soon. But I got it 2 days ago and as mentioned it is a mess.. I've taken several decals off and then took the seats, weights, etc out of the interior to gt all the rocks, dirt, rubber, that was in it out... Then I decided to paint the roll cage and do a proper cleaning. That's where I am now.
As far a as specs.. It's a former Pro Koni Challenge car so it is loaded up with stuff I'm discovering... When I get it cleaned up, and the dash sorted, and with my graphics scheme I'll post lots of shots..
