He's a stand-up guy.
Accidentially de-laminated my door plug when I had to remove it to manually unlock the door.
The plugs are warrantied for a year, and although mine are 2 years old and the de-lam was my fault, he sent me a new door plug gratis.
Excuse the pun, but this post is a plug for Eric.

Eric did the same thing for me with a bumper plug. I was using a clay bar on my car and I hit the edge of one of the bumper plugs with quite a bit of force. It knocked the paint off the plug.
I called him to see if he had one in stock. After he told me he did have one, I drive over to his office to pick it up. He wouldn't take any money for it. Great customer service.
