Is this stock Exhaust?

Here are some pics, I just got this last week and it is much louder than the others I test drove. I am not sure what it is.

Yes, they appears to be stock mufflers. They could be PSE (Porsche Sport Exhaust) mufflers, or the PO could have done the PSE mod to the stock (non PSE) mufflers.
The 1st pic is what PSE mufflers look like. The 2nd pic shows the stock muffler (right) and a stock muffler (left) with the MK II mod which mimics the sound of PSE. You can have a local muffler shop do this for about $100 to $200.

The exhuast tips are tequipment (an option)... you appear to have a Mk1 996... but have Mk2 exhaust, so... you have a good chance someone put a PSE or the PSE hack like time mentioned... to be sure which one you have.... peak under the car and see if there is a valve mounted on the cans.
