Since you are in Charlotte, stop by Eric's (BumperPlugs) place and pick up a set of clear side markers and a Key Plug. The front pics were a little dark so I can't tell if you have Bumperplugs of not. If not, get those too.

Eric is a great guy, is fun to talk with, and has some awecome examples of painted parts. It's like a trip to the candy store.

alright, but he took such nice pics.....

You need to harvest those pumkins AND blow that silly cassette holder thing out of the dash and put in a second shelf. Its more useful and will help update the car a tad.... PTHHH Cassette tapes!

There

I think I may have met him a few months ago when we had a mountain fun run. I was the only 944 in a sea of 996/997s. I actually won a $25 gift certificate for his shop so now I'll have a chance to use it. I think the plugs may already be installed since I don't see any holes in the front bumper. But yeah the clear lenses would really clean the car up.

Hey I don't know what the hell that cassette holder is doing in that car?!? It doesn't have a cassette player in it! Or at least not as far as I can tell. I was already looking on the "For Sale" section for a CD holder or second shelf to replace it.

many people dont like the CD holder, you should be able to pick one up cheap. I on the other hand like mine and would only use a second shelf to clutter up the insides with things I should have left at home anyhow!!

Great sense of humor!! made me laugh at your reply

Ed, but a second shelf will hold "shiny things" that you can see while you are driving!

shiny is good but I tend to drive off road while staring - thats why I like the black anodized pedals over the aluminum look

I started wearing dark sunglasses too... its amazing how pretty the solid ABS light is on my dash

Great car and shows well - thanks for sharing the pics.
Hopefully I will soon take mine out of storage now that the weather is improving.

Fernando, I just spoke to Richard and he told me that you sold your S2 cab and bought a 996 cab...nice looking car! Pretty color combination. I can't wait to see it in person. How many miles and where did you find it?

Wow! The mod train isn't usually this late - I was expecting a pumpkin alert much sooner in the thread...

Great looking car! That's the blue my wife has her eye on...

Thanks for sharing some pics!

Thanks for the compliments! I'm so satisfied with the car so far. It's my daily driver so now I think I'm going on three weeks and I couldn't be any happier! I think the color combination is ideal as I prefer contrasting interior/exterior colors so this works out perfectly for me.
