Trying to find the relays location on a 00 996. Trying to troubleshoot my horn problem. I replaced the airbag retaining frame, still no horn.

The relays are on the driver's side footwell, to the left of the foot rest (above the fuse panel). If you need the number for the horn relay, let me know. You should have a piece of paper on the back of the fuse panel with the relay and fuse numbers.

Thanks Mfletch for your response, and yes I would like to know the location. Also, how would I know if the relay is blown or not.

Is the fuse blown?
B3 is the horn fuse. That would be second row from the top and 3rd fuse from the left.

Horn relay is position 10 - that would be second row from the top and 5th relay from the left.

check the fuse as stated, if its good, check the relay by depressign the horn with the key on and see if the relay clicks, if it clicks your problem is down stream if it does not then you have a bad relay or an open between the coulum and the relay. Try the horn with the key off does it work?

^^^If all that is ok, I bet you have 2 bad honkers! Seen it before.
