I noticed MA Shaw has a post in this forum. His products are great and I'm the proud new owner of an RS wing as you can see from my avatar. I'm selling my original 996 GT3 wing for anyone that is interested and has the aero package. $399 OBO.

Is this a plug and play part, or does it require more to install on a stock C2? (i.e. a different decklid?)

It needs a different decklid.

You would need a different deck lid or the aero kit to the 996. This is the top wing and it is not carbon. below is a picture of the original wing. The one in my avatar is the RS carbon wing. If you have the aero kit or deck lid with the support uprights as you see in this picture, it fits right in.
