Repairing scratched paint on caliper

Repairing scratched paint on caliper
Has anyone repaired a scratch on their red calipers. I've found lots of threads on repainting the calipers, but I really don't want to repaint a caliper that is fine except for a scratch. Plus the Duplicolor paint isn't the same color as the factory paint.
Anyone have any ideas?
TIA!

iirc "red" from Testors matches pretty well

if you can find a hobby store that carries it near you it should be easy to compare, clear coat it afterward
edit: I think it's this one: http://www.testors.com/products/135896

Red Calipers
I use Testors 1103 Red with a very fine brush.
The red on the calipers is pretty resilient, and the only touch-up that I have had to do is around the bleed screw. What I have had problems with is the clear coat scaling off. This is an ongoing problem for my 996, so I have gotten pretty good at repairing the clear coat without having to redo the base coat or stenciling.
I use wet 2000 grit sandpaper to feather along the edges of defect, then mask off the area and respray it with Krylon high-temp clear. After it dries for a few hours, I then feather the masking line with wet 2000 grit very gently. The end result is just about invisible.
You can tell where your clear coat is gone by the shine of the base color. Shiny means clear coat, flat means the clear coat is gone.
