I actually realized that it was a commercial. Just a little sarcastic humor on my part...

I remember a bunch of years ago "they" ran a Honda fireblade against an Accura NSX. The bike won but the litany of jibes "yeah but I can carry my groceries, yeah but I don't get wet when it rains, yeah but I can carry my golf clubs" etc. that followed left me with a very solid impresion. That impression of course is that while some machines may excel at some things, it's a rare thing for a machine to excel at all things.

That said, I love the commercial and as a former Ninja driver, I love the commercial too!

I think comparing a bike to a car is lame to begin with.

Lets look at the bright side. They chose a Porsche and not some other sports car to make their point.

Wishful thinking but I do think that is the case. They chose the Porsche because of the RMS leak issue. That is why they pick the P car for this commercial...or perchaps an inside joke..LOL

Isn't it pretty well understood that bikes rape cars in a straight line and when it comes to cornering a 4 wheels>2 wheels? The C4 beating the R1 around a track was a pretty clear cut demonstration...
