Maybe; IDK; I'm on the fence. I like the understated look of black since the rest of my interior is primarily black, which, makes me think to stick with the stock pedals until they wear out, but where's the fun in that?

See Jon996's Black pedals from Rennline in this post to get an idea of what I'm thinking about.

I checked out the link -those are understated and blend right it. I personally like the way the silver aluminum of the pedals ties into others trim pieces in the car.

That being said, I think I might try getting some pedals black anodized. I'm probably going to have to get 15 or 20 sets done to make it make sense financially. When I get them done I will post something about it.

I am machining some pedals over the next few days to take to the anodizer. I am actually really excited about this as I have a couple ideas that will make these black pedals even better looking. I will post more about the black pedals when I get them back.

I dropped a variety of pedals off at the anodizer yesterday. I'm real excited to see how they look.

Hopefully will get the samples back from the anodizer this week.

I've run out of Porsche pictures, so here's a couple of the SRP "R&D Test Vehicle" at CMP

The movie is getting a little old now, but the Mustang in "Gone in 60 Seconds" had some nice pedals on it (ours).

How durable will the black anodizing be? What kind of lifespan can you anticapate (miles)?

I've only been offering the anodized pedals for a month or so. I don't have enough data yet to make an estimate. I do know the anodizing is very tough. On the Black/Silver pedals, where we re-countersink the holes after anodizing to make them silver again, it is very difficult to get the tooling to cut through the anodizing. It wears the countersinks out very quickly. This makes me have high hopes that the anodizing will last a long time.

On the other hand, pedals are a wear item. I can see the tips of the Grid pedals wearing off first.

In other words, I don't know how long
