That car looks clean and beside super low mileage, it does not seem to have lots of options like the leather dash, 3-spoke steering wheel, etc... If you don't care about those, check the PPI if passed then make an offer for this car.

I ain't scared of a low mileage car......so, it may leak a little oil. Keep adding more and enjoy it.

Determining that the engine may fail due to low mileage because it hasn't proved it will stay together.......no one will ever know unless they DRIVE it!

I'd take it.

Did it ever have a service before that???
Not sure how reliable it is, but carfax indicates it an oil services 5k miles. Need to check the books and see it in person.

I agree, not many options- not even a CD player! Is the stereo pre-wired for a changer in the trunk?

The car is at a pcar dealer. Does one still request a PPI in those situations? And if so, do you take it to a different dealer/shop?

Some still have a PPI completed, but at a different shop or indy.

What's the going price for 996's in your area? They may have dropped the price because they got tired of waiting for a buyer that would be willing to pay a premium for an ultra-low mileage car that age, especially in these times.

Get the dealer to CPO that bad boy on their dime and I think you may have a winner.

That's my thought, too. It will be interesting to get their reaction.

I've seen 996's for just under $20k and up. There doesn't seem to be much logic in the pricing these days.
