I did the Zaino sequence starting from washing with Dawn, claybar, wash, polish x3. I didn't get to clean the wheels tires -- have to save that for another day. By the third coat of Z2, it was definitely evident that it was worth waiting for. After I took the picks, I used some Z6. While I was waiting for one of the Z2 coats to dry, I cleaned/conditioned the interior leathers (very nice!).

I should have called you on Sat. I got into Austin to pick up that E55 and the car was a disaster and completely not as advertised. I walked away from the deal and had to figure out how to get back home today. I could have come over and helped with the Zaino process but was a little tired and aggrivated by the time I found hotel and flight arrangements.

Zack - Your car looks fantastic. Congratulations on the results of your hard work.
I just used Zaino 5 and 2 for the first time on Friday night. Strangely, I thought it was easier and far less messy than Zymol, which I have used for years. I'm now a believer. For photos, check out the Cary/Apex thread - mine is the black 996 with the aero kit. It's the best it has looked since I've owned it.

Zack,
Looking good - is that Arctic Silver? Also - are you using an RO or are you doing it by hand? What are you looking for - depth or gloss? I did something similar using 3M stuff, Imperial Hand Glaze, followed by their Perfect-it Show Car glaze and topped with Mother's Carnauba... I did it all by hand, but I honestly couldn't tell if it got better (it looked pretty good to start with)... It's pretty glossy now, so I'd like to try something to deepen the finish and if Zaino does that, I'll try that next...
Looking good - can't wait to see it when you're done.
