Have you considered spacers to push those nice wheels out a bit?

Great color, go Mark I !
Would spacers work with those? Not familiar with that whole process....

Thanks, I'm glad I went with the leather console too!

Nice mods! You car looks great!

Just curious, what caused you to swap from a gray top to a black top?

Thanks! My grey top was shot (window) and the trim pieces looked worn and dirty, so I decided to swap it out with black and LOVE it....the contrast looks so much better IMO. What do you think? (See before and after pics: sorry about the bad pic...just took it from my phone this morning to show you the difference)

I think the black top looks good. However, I also like the gray top, mostly because it is relatively unique to see a top other than black. Good job!!!

It's too bad we never had a chance to meet in person when I lived in Concord, about 5 miles from Lowes Motor Speedway.

Thanks...for me the grey top looked too washed out, especially after I removed the window tint...but you are right, it is unique even though I use the top only 10% of the time when I drive it.

I am in Matthews myself...if ya get down this way again, let's hook up...not sure how many 996's around here, but I've seen a few.

Very clean looking cab and your rear wing looks great too... How many miles do you have on this car? Also how much for the new top part and installation if you don't mind? BTW is the top OEM or aftermarket? Sorry for so many questions... Cheers,

Thanks! The wing was part of the factory Aero package...not exactly sure what it is called...maybe Aero Wing or Tail?

Thanks man! I have just over 50k on it...the new top is aftermarket and was $1200 plus installation was around $800 I think...but I also did the trim pieces covering the "rollbar" area with new black trim pieces.

Thanks, that's great, my top is still good for now but may need replacement one day as well... Is yours with the rear glass window?

Great conversion!! Very clean! I have the metro blue top. Did they change out the trim pieces when you got the new top or did you do it yourself. My top is down a lot and my blue trim is a bit faded.

Looks great except for that ugly blue smudge on the license plate.
