I had to do a panic stop yesterday from about 45 mph and was just fine....I'm running Meyle rotors and Akebono pads. They are more linear and kind of require you to be harder on the pedal. Just have a totally different feel compared to stock pads. Will still stop you without issue though.

Your right varsorama, better said. Hard stops are fine. More pedal pressure is required during normal driving over stock pads. So really less dust vs. more required foot pressure is what you can expect.

Without a doubt, cold bite is superior with OEM, but to me nothing is more annoying than super touchy brakes. Especially in traffice! I'd rather control the pedal pressure myself. Obviously if you are weak, not the pads for you!
