Is it correct that code P1124 has something to do with maf sensor? i'm assuming replacing the sensor is not that critical to damage the engine. advice needed. thanks.

1124 Oxygen Sensing Adaptation Area 1 (Cylinders 1 - 3) - Rich Threshold

As it's only one bank of cylinders showing the fault - unlikely to be MAF

MAF would effect both sides at the same time, so you'd have a fault code for bank 1-3 and 4-6 on the car.

Could be vacuum issue on the air intake, or low fuel pressure, or clogged injector

Non critical as it's emissions related - will not harm the car - may burn out the CEL bulb if you leave it lit for months and months....

The 1125 is the other bank (1) and indicates that you are running RICH on that bank.
