Default Costco Tires

Costco's tire store is clearly run by Michelin since it carries only Michelin brands. With some concern about whether they would harm my wheels, I ordered rear tires from Costco. Had them installed Tuesday. No problems at all.

Kind of neat benefits in addition to the decent price. Road hazard warranty included in the price and free lifetime balance. I had the front wheels balanced while I was there. Total cost: $8.00 - for both.

Cost for two 285/30/18 Pilot Sport, installed and balanced was $743.98.

Overall, pretty good experience.

Costco is usually a very deal. Some of them have issues with larger than 17's. Also, sometimes you have to order the tires too, and it takes a while. But overall a very good deal.

Darn it, no, but then wheel balances might cost a tad more than $4.00 a wheel if they did.

I recently got 4 Sumitomo HTR Z III s for less than $700 installed. Very happy in the 500 miles so far.

I almost bought those tires, but I did not need fronts, so the cost for me was about the same. How is the noise level? When you try to order those from Tire Rack, they give you a warning about the load rating being higher than the OEM tires. Do you notice additional ride stiffness?
