I did a transaction w/ them in August that didn't work out, so I returned the goods for a full credit. After chasing it down for 3 months they finally stopped answering the phone last week so I called the credit card company and they took care of it. Times must be tough.

Many Rennlisters have had issues with DPS, I purchased a set of wheels from them and was a happy customer but I seem to be on the minority.

Exactly, what do you mean by, "their rep is still around"?
Thanks,

Purchased a set of GT3 seats last July and was told I would get them by mid August. Finally filed a claim with CC company last week and got a full refund with interest a few days later. Dayton over at DPS is an absolute jerk and master B.S

Do a search and you'll find their reputation is pretty clear. Lots of empty promises that were unfulfilled. a track record of many people reporting that they were told one thing and that thing never happened.

just "don't" do it...

2 years ago, they were fine... but all that has changed.

I can vouch for them 2 years ago, as I bought my aero parts on a group buy price. Lately that seems to have changed, but I was treated very well in May of 06

I will be blunt, Avoid DPS!! They do not keep promises or deliver anywhere close to on time, if at all.
It's to bad because I did have decent dealings with them but they have screwed way to many of my Renn buddies.

I agree, I went through the weeks of no email response or answering the phone. I ordered tail lights, got two drivers side?? I also ordered trim rings that fit like crap. I never got new rings after six weeks of promising they were on the way.

I had a transaction with Dayton just last week (a sale to them) that went just fine. No problem.

I would avoid them like the plague. Took more than a month after I paid to get stainless guage rings from them. They kept telling me it would be there tommorrow and I am only 1 hour from their shop. Eventually I had to file a claim through paypal.com and ebay before they sent them out.
