Smile Carbon Fiber Rear Deck Lid

I originally posted this thread asking if anyone had a stock rear deck lid they wanted to get rid of. Well I decided to change it because I don't really need to keep one. I am make CF stuff and "NEED" to make a CF rear deck lid to work with my mounts for the rear spoiler that I also make. I have to use a stock lid to make a mold of it. Let me know if anyone wants to let go their lid for a week or so. I have to room to be very flexible.

For a mark I or II? Where are you located?

I think most people who have spare decklids will have the lift vent. I have a MK I in black if you're interested.

I understand there is a difference in years but is there a physical difference? Do they look the same and are they the same size?

IIRC The slope angle of the lower part of the deck is slighly different between the MK I and II but I'll let someone else clarify that. You can use them interchangably as I have seen that people use the MK I wings on MK II cars but there is some slight difference.

why not just buy from getty design or mashaw? is it because of price? definitely seems like a worthwhile investment.

Hello

I'd like to know if you would be able to make some interior parts in carbon fiber with good quality.

They are very expensive as OEM Porsche and aftermarket too.

Pieces like upper center console, rear center console, and other trim pieces.

If you would, and the cost is affordablet here will be lot of us raedy to purchase these pieces.

Excellent. I love hearing your guy's feed back. Smaller pieces are very hard to make as the cloth doesn't like to bend sharp small corners, even under vacuum. We could make those but I would respectfully like to stay focus on what we are best at. We do specialize in aerodynamic performance. However if your really interested in in that piece. I will look into the dificulty of making one and get back to you. B-]

If someone would like a carbon fiber deck lid and has a plain 911 deck lid, please PM.
