what's the best way to obtain power source for audio accessories? would prefer the accessories source... my current set up is hooked directly to the battery (when car was sold to me) I need to rewire it to prevent draining the battery. thanks guys!

You will need to tap into a positive, main battery power terminal and put a relay on it, realy to ignition switch and add a fuse. I have been told not use the ECU power line on other cars, they have a separate, direct line for the ECU to prevent electrical interference.
I'm sure any capable audio shop will do this for you too.

Relay? Why not a switched source?Originally Posted by Fissionx

Check your fuse panel wiring. I think C5 is switched and blank. It should be pretty easy to route from the horseshoe to the fuse panel.Originally Posted by tris911
is there something i could buy and connect the wire with to make it switched source?
