Suggestions for a bumper cover/ splitter
#17
I have the GT3 RS/Street part on my car. They are different parts from Mk1 to Mk2. The pic I have of it on my car is a little dark, but you'll get the idea
I believe I paid about $200 or so, from sunset, p/n:
996-505-986-92-01C
You will also want to consider ordering the plastic hardware to mount it , p/n:
999 507 557 40 Plastic rivets (need 11 of these)
You can also use standard metal fender washers and screws. I bought stainless, black painted hardware and I can tell you that the one time I've had it catch debris, it did not tear anything, popped just like plastic would have, clean holes. I only used metal for this because I forgot to order the plastic ones, but you can go either way.
The DIY is on 6speed

I personally did not lift the car, just ran up on boards, used a flexible dremel to drill pilots where necessary, and a stubby screwdriver to tighten. You will have to trim a little plastic (about an inch from each end) if you want it to fit perfectly flush. I had a helper so with two guys it took about 20 minutes.
The Cup part is not available through the dealers right now ( 996 505 986 91)
The Cup part is bigger and way more visible, but in terms of balancing out your wing I'm sure if the street GT3 is fine with the street part yours will be too.
